the issue occurs in Word 2024 LTSC (build 17932.20130)

Add “Developer/Controls/Richt Text Control”Open “Developer/Controls/Properties”Check “Content control cannot be deleted”Set cursor after the inserted control

=> No text can be entered, Message “You can’t make this change because the selection is locked” is shown at the bottom

Does not occur in other Word versions.
