Interim guidance for DST changes announced by Palestinian authority for 2024, 2025.
The Palestinian authority has decided to delay the start of Daylight Saving Time (DST) in 2024 and 2025. The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of the Palestinian authority has conveyed this decision in an article dated January 30, 2024.
This moves the DST entry date further away from the month of Ramadan and the Eid ul Fitr holiday, which marks the end of Ramadan.
The Palestinian authority also announced that the 2025 DST date will be delayed by one week.
The impact of this change is as follows:
Clocks will be set forward 1 hour on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 02:00 (2 am) to 03:00 (3 am) local time.
