Hi,
Is it possible to get a report over all users who have activated Office including the name of the device (Windows, Apple, Android device name)?
I know that I can go on each user, one by one, to get that information, but having a report will be usefull when searching for a specific computer name
Thank you for your reply 🙂

Multiple conditions case
Working on excel workbook where I want to see a value(Column1) in Column 12 if value in Column 3= C1 and If value in Column 2 is >=C31 and if value in Column 2 is <=D3 . Above 3 conditions which are true only then I want to see value in Column 1 otherwise I want to see “NO” in Column 1.
I tried formula (IFS([@Column3]=’Shift Pattern’!C1,[@Column1],[@Column2]>’Shift Pattern’!$C$3,[@Column1],[@Column2]<‘Shift Pattern’!$D$3,[@Column1])
Above formula shows Column 1 value even if one of the above condition is true and ignore others.
Can you please tell me how I can apply above mentioned condition?
Either I am apply formula wrong or I am apply wrong formula. What is the case?

Azure AD Assessment Tool from Microsoft not working anymore because of “disabled” enterprise app
Hi everyone,
i was using https://github.com/AzureAD/AzureADAssessment for some time now to easy get a good list of all high privileged users and enterprise app.
But it does not work anymore because MS disabled their own enterprise app due to service violations.
Creating an own app seems to be easy with the help of a user here:
This application has been disabled by Microsoft · Issue #89 · AzureAD/AzureADAssessment (github.com)
But i end up with:
Original exception: AADSTS7000218: The request body must contain
the following parameter: ‘client_assertion’ or ‘client_secret’.
I already selected “Allow public client flows” and added the Redirect URI “https://login.microsoftonline.com/common/oauth2/nativeclient”
Can anyone help me out or do i need another tool?

Monitor SharePoint access
Is there a way to monitor or get alerts when a SharePoint site changes its permissions? For example, if someone new gets added to a SharePoint group or the permissions for the site changes. I’ve tried using Microsoft Purview alerts, but after setting up a few alerts several days ago, it doesn’t seem to be working. I’m not sure if these alerts just aren’t working or I set it up wrong? Is there some other tool I can look into? The only other thing I can think of is a flow to run a report or maybe a Power BI report showing the users and groups.

Deploy a Gradio Web App on Azure with Azure App Service: a Step-by-Step Guide
Context
Gradio is an open-source Python package that you can use for free to create a demo or web app for your machine learning model, API, Azure AI Services integration or any Python function. You can run Gradio in Python notebooks or on a script. A Gradio interface can automatically create a public link, so you can then share a link to your demo or web app easily with Gradio’s sharing features. A share link usually looks like this: https://07ff8706ab.gradio.live . This link uses the Gradio Share Servers, but these servers only forward your local server, and do not keep any data sent through your app. Share links are valid for 72 hours. For a more stable way to build a demo app, we suggest using Azure App Service. App Service is a Platform as a Service (PaaS) offering from Microsoft. It allows us to host web applications, REST API’s and backend services for mobile applications. We can host web applications and services that are made with multiple programming languages or frameworks including, .NET, Java, Python etc. This document gives you a detailed guide on how to get your gradio application working on Azure. Up we go!
Run your project locally
Any IDE will work, but we recommend using VSCode, because it has many features that make it easy to create a virtual environment, deploy your project to azure and run a local server. Download the Visual Studio Code installer for Windows. When the download is done, run the installer (VSCodeUserSetup-{version}.exe). It will take a minute or less. VS Code will be installed in C:Users{Username}AppDataLocalProgramsMicrosoft VS Code by default. During the installation, don’t forget to select the “Add Open with Code Action”.
As an example, we will show this basic gradio app that shows the hello message to user.
import gradio as gr
with gr.Blocks() as demo:
gr.Markdown(“Hi friends!”)
demo.launch(share=True)
You can run this code as a Python terminal or as a Jupyter notebook cell.
However, to get the Gradio app to work, we need to connect a gradio.Blocks to a FastAPI application that is already in place.
Begin by creating a virtual environment. To achieve this, you need to install the library first.
pip install virtualenv
To create a venv for your project, follow these steps in your terminal: make a new project folder, use cd to go to the project folder, and run this command
cd my-project
python -m venv myenv
myenvScriptsactivate
Otherwise you can create a venv in VSCode, using the command palette : Ctrl + Shift + P -> Python: Create Environment
Now install the libraries
pip install gradio
pip install fastapi
And rewrite your initial gradio code. Create main.py and add the following code :
from fastapi import FastAPI
import gradio as gr
app = FastAPI()
with gr.Blocks() as demo:
gr.Markdown(“Hi friends!”)
app = gr.mount_gradio_app(app, demo, path=”/”)
You are now ready to run your FastAPI application
python main.py
Please note, that when you need to use secrets in your code, you should use the environment variables.
import os
import gradio as gr
with gr.Blocks() as demo:
my_secret_key = os.environ[“MY_SECRET_KEY”]
gr.Markdown(“Hi friends!”)
demo.launch(share=True)
One way to make the environment variable is through the terminal or PC settings, but a better way to set up the debug profile in VScode is to make your development easier. In your .vscode folder, put the launch.json file that has this content:
{
“version”: “0.2.0”,
“configurations”: [
{
“name”: “Python Debugger: FastAPI”,
“type”: “debugpy”,
“request”: “launch”,
“module”: “uvicorn”,
“args”: [
“main:app”,
“–reload”
],
“jinja”: true,
“env”: {
“MY_SECRET_KEY”: “<my secret key value>”
}
}
]
}
This will enable you to launch your local app by using the Run > Start Debugging
Deploy to Azure App Service
Because Azure App Services run in the Linux environment, you need to install the gunicorn package, as this is what the startup command relies on instead of uvicorn.
pip install gunicorn
Use the following command to make a requirements file:
pip freeze > requirements.txt
This will create a file that displays all the packages and their dependencies with their versions, something like this:
aiofiles==23.2.1
altair==5.3.0
annotated-types==0.6.0
anyio==4.3.0
attrs==23.2.0
certifi==2024.2.2
charset-normalizer==3.3.2
click==8.1.7
colorama==0.4.6
contourpy==1.2.1
cycler==0.12.1
fastapi==0.110.1
ffmpy==0.3.2
filelock==3.13.4
fonttools==4.51.0
fsspec==2024.3.1
gradio==4.26.0
gradio_client==0.15.1
gunicorn==21.2.0
Make a new folder called deploy and open it in VSCode. Paste the main.py and requirements.txt files in this folder.
Some of the tutorials suggest creating a Docker image that can then run on App Service. But this is not required. You can also deploy code directly from a local workspace to App Service without making a Docker image.
Before you start, make sure you have the Azure Tools extension pack installed and you are logged into Azure from VS Code. Then go to the Azure portal to create the resource. Sign in to the Azure portal, type app services in the search bar at the top of the portal. Choose the option called App Services under the Services heading on the menu that shows up below the search bar.
On the App Services page, select + Create, then select + Web App from the drop-down menu.
On the Create Web App page, fill out the form as follows.
Resource Group → Select Create new and use your RG name.
Name → you-app-name. This name must be unique across Azure.
Runtime stack → Python 3.11.
Region → Any Azure region near you.
App Service Plan → Under Pricing plan, select Explore pricing plans to select a different App Service plan.
The App Service plan determines the amount of resources (CPU/memory) that your app can use and how much you pay for them.For this example, under Dev/Test, choose the Basic B1 plan. The Basic B1 plan will cost a little bit from your Azure account but is better for performance than the Free F1 plan. When done, select Select to confirm your changes.
At the bottom of the screen on the main Create Web App page, choose the Review + create option. This will bring you to the Review page. To create your App Service, select Create.
Now in VSCode sign to Azure using the command palette (Ctrl + Shift + P)
Then open the Azure extension in VSCode:
Now go to your Web App resource that you made earlier > Right Click > Deploy to Web App
This will start the deployment job
After the deployment is finished, go to the Azure portal, search for the Web Service, select the Settings and input environment variables
And then type the secret name and value as they appear in your local settings in VSCode.
To finish, go to Settings > Configuration > Startup Command and type in this command
python -m gunicorn main:app -k uvicorn.workers.UvicornWorker
To make the web app work properly and recognize the secrets, you have to restart it after setting the environment variables.
To see if the app service is functioning, go to Overview > Default Domain, and you can use this link to access your Web App.
There you have it, your Azure Web App is ready to go. I hope this article was useful.

Pivot table grouping and return OK if condition using countif()>0
Hi community, I would need your help here please.
I have a big table with multiple column, However I am focused in 2 main columns, call “Control” & “Status”.
In total i have 100 rows in my table, however I can have the same “Control” repeated in multiple row. I have different type of “Status” that could be: Not Started; In Progress; Completed.
I would need to group each same “Control”, And return a “OK” if for each Control it does NOT have an associated “Not Started”;”In Progress”; means only “Completed” status apply. Otherwise, it will return “NOK”.
I have a built a pivot table to show this in a summary visualization:
My first try was:
1. Build a specific Pivot table, In rows i insert “Status”; in values I insert “Status” but I change the Value Field Settings as Count.
2. Now Insert calculated Field, with the following formula:
=if((countif(status=”Not Started”)+countif(status=”In Progress”))>0;”NOK”;”OK”)
When I click ok, it returns “Too few”.
I don’t find the way to do it…
Can I anyone help me out to solve this need? How would you do it? Is this the best way?
I would need a smart and fast way idea.
Thank you a lot!

Permanent migration to New Teams
Hello,
I would like to move all organisation to the New Teams. According to this article:
i need to assign the policy one-by-one what is ridiculous. To many People to add. The solution would be to add one group which contains all people.
Is there any default name of the group which contains all people in my organisation?
If I need to create manual such a group, then add people – we are going back to the beginning – have to add one-by-one.
Second question, I did some test with one user. I created a policy which contains
– Show Teams preview features: On for everyone
– Use new Teams client: New Teams only
Nevertheless the user can still launch the “old” Teams and successfully log in to it. Therefore the question is how works this policy? Or can I somewhere in Teams Admin Center remove “old” Teams ?

Secure Score / 2FA on sharedmailbox
Good morning, everybody.
I am responsible for maintaining a SecureScore at a fairly high level in an organization.
The recommended actions include “Verify that MultiFactor Authentication is enabled for all users” and this one concerns me.
For about a year and a half, conditional access has been put in place to ensure that no account is forgotten. It‘s all working fine.
Problem, the recommended action in the SecureScore reports that only 256 users out of 317 have MFA enabled. As I dig deeper, I realize that among those 317 users, there are the shared boxes, resource calendars (room and equipment), and guest users that are included.
Since 2FA cannot be set up on a resource calendar or on a shared mailbox, how can I make sure that these are not included in the list?
Would it be possible to add a feature to have the ability to exclude certain types of accounts from the Secure Score calculation, or to change the calculation directly?

Query for user or users in Exchange online
I have a slightly different version of this posted elsewhere. Can I, in Exchange online, run a query that will for example:
1. Give me all users with a specific company name-i.e. all users where company name matches xxx
2. Give me all users where company name matches xxx OR state=ny
I’m looking to construct some lists but it would be very helpful to just pull back, throw some queries out, get results and then fine tune from there. I don’t see (or haven’t used the right terms) a way to do this from online KB articles

Linux Enrollment
I’m looking to start enrolling some Linux machines into our tenant and after going through the documentation about this, it specifies Ubuntu, would it be possible to use a downstream build like Pop?
Additionally, the GNOME requirement seems a bit strange to me? Is there a specific function within GNOME that I could pull into another desktop environment like KDE so that the environment is very similar to what my users are used to, as most of them don’t have much experience with Linux and DE’s not like Windows.

Using Entra ID Support for Passkey Authentication with Microsoft 365
Entra ID supports passkeys as an authentication method. In fact, support is a variation of the existing FIDO2 authentication method using device-bound passkeys managed by the Microsoft Authenticator app. Passkeys are a strong phishing-proof authentication method. The question is whether the current implementation will be considered too complicated by regular users.

Azure build pipeline with 0 code coverage always
Hi, so i have this classic build pipeline with the below tasks:
NugetRestore
Prepare Analysis on sonarqube
Build Solution with visual studio build
Visual studio test
Run code analysis
Publish Quality gate result
Copy files
Publish Artifact
My test tasks creates the code coverage file, my code analysis takes and converts it to xml. The issue is it stopped seeing the code covered.
It always 0 in the summary tab and if you click on code coverage tab it says : Code coverage report cannot be rendered as report HTML was not found. Please verify that “Report Directory” containing an HTML report was specified when publishing code coverage.
the thing is nothing changed from our end but i saw multiple pipelines with the same issue.
i cannot seem to find a resolution for this.
the tests run with vstest for whic Microsoft says you dont need a separate Publish code coverage result task.
