Filter 2 columns at the same time in a table
Hi. Newbie here! I have been trying to figure out how to filter two columns at the same time. In this instance, I want to filter the “SPLIT SALES” and “SPLIT SALES 2” columns by “HIPPKE”. Essentially pulling all “HIPPKE” sales. Is this possible? TIA!

Think like a People Scientist: Influencing action without authority
On April 23rd, the Viva People Science team hosted the third webinar in the ‘Think like a People Scientist’ series. The topic was how to influence internal stakeholders without formal authority, including executives, HR colleagues, managers, and employees.
Joe Dunn and Beth Demko, both People Scientists on our Viva team, shared resources and frameworks for influencing different stakeholders at various stages of the Glint process. They discussed common obstacles, as well as tips for overcoming them during survey design, survey administration, reporting, action taking, and reinforcing desired behaviors.
If you missed the live event, watch the recording here. You can also access the slide presentation below.

Why does my plot line appear outside the axes?
I’m trying to make a double y-axis plot of data that extends beyond the x-axis limits of the plot. When I save the plot as a .png, the plot lines appear outside the right axis of the plot.
Here’s code for a simplified version of what I’m trying that produces the issue:
x = [0 1 2 3 4];
yl = [0 1 2 4 3];
yr = [0 2 3 1 2];
yyaxis left
plot(x, yl)
yyaxis right
plot(x, yr)
xlim([1 3])
saveas(gcf,'[PATH].png’)
And here’s the image that’s saved:
I know that there’s a workaround of shortening the data arrays to the range of the x-axis limits before plotting, but I was wondering if there’s a more elegant solution.I’m trying to make a double y-axis plot of data that extends beyond the x-axis limits of the plot. How to add warning message when using simulink and code generation?
Hi!
I’m trying to add a custom warning message into a simulink model, which also should be able to work with code generation. I’ve got no luck in finding a function or how to add such message without the model crashing. I’ve tried the function warning and sldiagviewer.reportWarning in a matlab function block, but they are not compatible with code generation and I receive the error: "The ‘sldiagviewer’ class does not support code generation" or "Function ‘warning’ not supported for code generation.". Could this be solved in some way?

VMGroups on Hyper-V cluster
I was playing around with few third-party VM backup solutions, all of which (except one, which don’t support shared storage for VM) require clustered VMs to be in VMGroup. Seems like an easy task – if your VM Host is not clustered.
I am running two node Hyper-V cluster based on WS2022 Core with CSVs based on S2D. I wanted to make all core services clustered too, however each vm backup solution out there hisses at me for shared storage. So I tried creating VM group:
> new-vmgroup -Name test -GroupType VMCollectionType
new-vmgroup : The operation failed because the file was not found.
+ CategoryInfo : ObjectNotFound: (:) [New-VMGroup], VirtualizationException
+ FullyQualifiedErrorId : ObjectNotFound,Microsoft.HyperV.PowerShell.Commands.NewVMGroup
Well, it does not look successful to me. Online docs are not exhausting on this topic, search engines are linking to dead or scam sites and none AI assistant could not resolve my issue.
I have tried creating group on a node with cluster service disabled (I took it down for test) and it worked, I could also remove it afterwards. However with cluster service online – I cannot proceed.
It certainly defies any benefit of clustering. Unfortunately, using only Windows Backup is not an option – I have to provide “quick and easy” way for less technical helpdesk specialists to browse through backups, restore files and track changes.

removing an unused account from the welcome screen
I share an office computer with several colleagues and when I turn it on I see the Teams welcome screen with several accounts of those who have used it, including a former colleague who no longer works with us. I want to remove her name, but I don’t know how. I have removed her account in the general Windows settings, but her name is still there in Teams and gives me a little trigger every time (she left to avoid mobbing charges…) How can I make Teams forget about her?

Help understanding MDE Linux threat policies – MDE doesn’t delete/quarantine rookits?
Hello. Hoping someone can help me understand how to confirm (and possibly modify) the behavior of MDE for Linux regarding threat policies.
Here’s a folder containing EICAR:
$ ls test_me/
eicar.txt
It is properly detected as EICAR:
$ mdatp scan custom –path /home/analyst/test_me
Scan has finished
1 file(s) scanned
1 threat(s) detected
Threat(s) found
Id: “20a180da-feef-49a3-bec0-c23c9947d138”
Name: Virus:DOS/EICAR_Test_File
Type: “virus”
Status: “infected”
However, the file is not deleted or quarantined, because the status is “allowed”:
$ sudo mdatp threat get –id “20a180da-feef-49a3-bec0-c23c9947d138”
Id: “20a180da-feef-49a3-bec0-c23c9947d138”
Name: Virus:DOS/EICAR_Test_File
Type: “virus”
Detection time: Fri Apr 26 15:02:09 2024
Status: “allowed”
Path: “/home/analyst/test_me/eicar.txt”
File size: 69
Sha256 hash: 131f95c51cc819465fa1797f6ccacf9d494aaaff46fa3eac73ae63ffbdfd8267
How does MDE know to allow this? There are no threat families allowed:
$ mdatp threat allowed list
No threat families.
There are no policies defined by default (at least it doesn’t seem like it…the output is just two rows of equal signs):
$ mdatp threat policy list
=====================================
=====================================
I looked into how to set threat policies, thinking maybe the default is to allow everything. It appears there are only two types of threat policies: archive bombs and potentially unwanted applications (PUA):
$ mdatp threat policy set
Configure a threat handling policy:
–type arg Threat type. Accepted values: archive_bomb,
potentially_unwanted_application
–action arg Action to take when a threat is encountered. Accepted
values: off, audit, block
Eicar is definitely not an archive bomb. Maybe it is a PUA, so I set the policy to block:
$ sudo mdatp threat policy set –type potentially_unwanted_application –action block
Threat policy modified successfully
$ mdatp threat policy list
=====================================
Threat type: potentially_unwanted_application
Action: block
=====================================
I scanned the file again and no change in behavior – it is still “allowed.”
Thinking MDE only allows EICAR because it knows it’s just for testing, I went ahead and threw a Stuxnet rootkit driver into the folder and scanned again. It was properly detected as Stuxnet, but still was just “allowed”.
$ mdatp scan custom –path /home/analyst/test_me
Scan has finished
2 file(s) scanned
2 threat(s) detected
Threat(s) found
Id: “0ac534db-024d-4497-8509-3b2b5e218a6d”
Name: Trojan:WinNT/Stuxnet.B
Type: “trojan”

How does one configure MDE to actually delete or quarantine threats? Is this only possible with full system scans and not on-demand/custom scans?

Microsoft Philanthropies Nonprofit Microsoft Designer AI Challenge
Greetings Nonprofit leaders! Microsoft Philanthropies would like to invite you all to participate in a new and fun way to get involved with AI!
So many organizations have expressed interest in AI yet are hesitant on where to start or how to use it. In efforts to get you familiar with AI, I invite you to head over to Microsoft Designer and challenge you to create any 3D illustration you’d like that represents you and your organization.
For example, our team challenged each other to design a 3D illustration of ourselves doing something we love. Below is an example prompt of how I generated the image below.
“A 3D illustration of a classic style animated character of a black woman sitting casually on a replica of the Microsoft logo. The character is dressed professionally in pink and white and wears heels. She is holding a Surface tablet. The background of the image showcases her interest in cybersecurity.”
Are you excited and ready to create your own? Let’s do it!
1. Head over to designer.microsoft.com and sign in with your credentials. (Note: you may have to use your personal account and not an organizational account).
2. Next, scroll down and select Generate next to the Image Creator option.
3. At the top, enter your descriptive prompt. Here is an example prompt that you can use: (Note you can tweak the prompt below to match an accurate description of yourself and what your organization does).
“A 3D illustration of a classic style animated character of a black woman. The character is a volunteer for a nonprofit organization and the background shows her in a computer lab of students teaching them technology”.
4. Select generate and watch your description come to life!
5. It’s as simple as that! This quick and yet fun challenge just taught you how to use natural language processing to generate an image in AI. How cool!
Keep it going! Head back over to the main page and play around with the other tools in Microsoft Designer! Challenge yourself to think of other ways AI can assist your organization.
We’d love to see your creations submitted below!

Allowing users to Call out From Call Queues
Hello All,
We are implementing call queues within Teams Voice and want to allow users to call out using the Call queues Number. Currently the call queue has a Microsoft Teams Phone Resource Account License. We have spare Teams Phone with Calling Plan (Country zone1 – US) licenses but when I try to combine them it states that these two licenses are incompatible. We do not want to add an Operator Connect or set up Direct Routing and just want to do it within Microsoft licenses/portals.
My Question is what license is able to be added to a Resource account license to allow for the queue to make these outbound calls. I have seen the domestic calling plan license might work but did not see anything that indicated it was guaranteed.
Any advice/ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
