Email alerts for sharepoint action “DownloadedFile”
Hi,
We are trying setup alerts for files being downloaded on specific executive sharepoint sites. We have created a custom alert policy in security.microsoft.com for that specific site and did few test downloads. We have not received any notifications for these activities. Tried searching the audit logs manually and there are no entries for these activities. Is there any specific setting that needs to be turned on in order to trigger the alert policy? We have activated “Reporting” in Site collection features.
Thanks in advance!!

Discover why over 20 million PSTN users trust Microsoft Teams Phone
Good things happen when you integrate smart, reliable calling into the flow of work. The flexible and intelligent capabilities of Teams Phone empower your team to create rich engagements, increase productivity, and save time.
Plus, you can rest easy knowing this Teams-native calling solution is secure, simple to manage, and can scale to the needs of your business.
We just announced that we reached the milestone of over 20 million Teams Phone Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) users —all with a phone number assigned using Operator Connect, Direct Routing, Teams Calling Plans, Teams Phone Mobile, or a combination of these options.
Every day, customers like Deutsche Bank, Reed, and Isuzu trust Teams Phone to keep their businesses connected. This milestone was made possible with the invaluable contributions of our customers and partners. And as we continue delivering smart, flexible, and reliable calling experiences, we want to share our gratitude to everyone who has been on this with us. Thank you for your feedback, ideas, and collaboration
Calling that fits the ways you work
Regardless of where you’re calling from or the device you’re using, we continue to invest in making Teams Phone more intuitive and accessible to serve a wide range of calling needs.
Flexible communications for frontline workers: Teams Phone keeps frontline workers mobile and connected with dedicated numbers and devices, making it a versatile solution for various industries and job functions. For instance, a retail store associate can easily respond to customer inquiries about product specifications and availability, or nurses can directly connect with their patients from anywhere, across devices.
Teams Phone Mobile: To make it easier to communicate on the go, Teams Phone Mobile gives you a single number across both Teams and the native dialer on your mobile device. We recently announced several new partners including AT&T, Odido, Virgin Media O2, and Vodafone UK will begin offering Teams Phone Mobile later this year, providing expanding coverage and choice.
Voice isolation: When you need to join a call or meeting from a noisy location, voice isolation can help ensure that only your voice is heard. Once you complete a short enrollment process, this AI-based advanced noise suppression will isolate your voice and eliminate all other background noise—including other people’s voices. Voice isolation is now generally available.
Create meaningful engagements with an intelligent and connected calling solution
Sometimes a phone call can make all the difference, helping you drive clarity and make decisions more quickly. Teams Phone gives you intelligent capabilities that connect your business and enable you to keep up with the pace of work.
Copilot in Teams Phone: Use the power of AI to work more flexibly and intelligently, automating the administrative tasks of a call, such as capturing key points, task owners, and next steps, so you can stay focused on the discussion. Copilot in Teams Phone supports both VoIP and PSTN calls and is available to use during or after a call in the Calls app.
Intelligent call recap: One of the best meetings features will soon be available for calling. Intelligent call recap can provide AI-powered insights and recaps of your VoIP and PSTN calls in Teams. This feature will be generally available later this year with a Teams Premium or Copilot license.
Queues app: The new Queues app creates a workspace for both supervisors and employees engaging with customer calls. When a call comes into the queue, users are notified and assigned with the options to accept or transfer the call. Supervisors can add users to different queues, supervise queues, manage workloads, monitor performance, and train team members to better engage with customers. The Queues app is currently available in private preview and will be generally available later this year as part of Teams Premium.
Enjoy peace of mind with a reliable and secure calling solution that is easy to manage
We understand how valuable simplicity, reliability, and consistency are to our customers. Teams Phone delivers on the promise of reliable PSTN service that is simple for any organization to deploy.
Financially-backed 99.999% service level agreement: As a signal of our commitment to deliver calling that works when you need it, we recently increased our Teams Phone service level agreement to reflect a 99.999 percent financially-backed uptime guarantee, which covers Microsoft Teams Calling Plans, Teams Phone, and Audio Conferencing.
Survivable calling capabilities: In order to preserve business continuity it’s useful to have a backup plan to stay connected in the event of a network outage. A Survivable Branch Appliance permits users to continue placing and receiving PSTN calls, even when offline. We continue to expand our survivable calling capabilities. Starting next quarter, Teams Phone SBAs will support call transfer, forwarding, and incoming calls from call queues or auto attendants..
Shared calling: With shared calling, a single phone number and calling plan can be shared by a group of users – whether it’s a team of 10 people in a small office or 10,000 users in an enterprise department. Admins can easily enable users to make and receive calls in Teams, saving deployment and management time.

OneDrive Adds New Offline Capabilities
Last October we updated OneDrive for web with a number of new features and enhancements to help you swiftly retrieve your files and content no matter where they live in your organization. Continuing with our ambition to give you simple and fast access to your files, we’re now launching offline mode, which brings both significant speed improvements and offline capabilities when using OneDrive in your favorite browser. Offline mode is now rolling out globally to OneDrive work and school users.
Using offline mode without an internet connection
Offline mode enables you to do the following when you don’t have an internet connection:
Open and interact with OneDrive’s “Home,” “My files,” “Shared,” “Favorites,” “People,” and, “Meeting” views.
View your folders, file names, and metadata such as file owner, size, recent activity, last open date, and more.
Use the “My files” view of OneDrive for web to rename, sort, move, or copy files and have those changes sync to your OneDrive when you reestablish an internet connection.
Open locally stored Office and non-Office files (files marked as “available offline”) in their native app and make and save edits.
Offline access to OneDrive helps you stay productive even in environments with unstable or unavailable internet connections.
Using offline mode with an internet connection
Offline mode also lights up new capabilities and performance when you do have an internet connection. For example:
You can designate files or folders as available for offline access directly from OneDrive for web.
You can free up local storage space by making your local files or folders online only directly from OneDrive for web.
You will experience up to 3X faster loading times when viewing and interacting with your files in OneDrive in your browser and in the OneDrive app in Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
The first two actions previously could only be competed in File Explorer on a PC or in Finder on a Mac. Now, when working in OneDrive for web, you no longer need to task switch to perform these actions. If you’re a fan of using OneDrive via your browser, we think you are going to love offline mode. Read on to learn more about how it works.
With offline mode in OneDrive, you’ll be notified when you lose your internet connection.
Offline mode leverages local cache to improve performance
Offline mode uses your device’s local storage to store certain file information such as file name, size, author, last date accessed, etc. This is made possible through the OneDrive Sync app, which intelligently stores a cache of your files’ metadata locally.
One of the primary benefits of this local cache is that it significantly improves load-times for OneDrive in your browser and speeds up viewing and interacting with your OneDrive files in your browser or OneDrive app in Microsoft Teams and Outlook. By accessing your content from your local cache instead of fetching it from a cloud server, data retrieval speeds are significantly improved. The result? A smooth OneDrive experience that’s insulated against slow or intermittent connections.
Furthermore, this enhancement has the added advantage of bypassing cloud service-related throttling issues. This is particularly beneficial when working with extremely large collections of files, numbering in the hundreds of thousands. You get smoother and faster access to large volumes of files without any hindrance.
Getting started with offline mode in OneDrive
To begin using offline mode, ensure you have a Windows or Mac computer running the latest OneDrive sync app. Next, go online and login to OneDrive for web in Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome and this will trigger an automatic one-time set up of offline mode. For more information on the requirements, current limitations and how to opt out of offline mode refer to the following support article. (Note: offline mode is just starting to roll out and is not yet available to all customers.)
Once you’ve set up offline mode, if your internet connection drops or if you decide to access your OneDrive without internet whether you are on plane, in the park, or somewhere else, you will find that you can still access OneDrive and browse, organize, move, copy, and rename your files. Any offline modifications you make will be synced once you reconnect to the internet. You always have the control to disable (and later re-enable) offline mode in OneDrive.
With offline mode in OneDrive you can rename, copy, or move files without an internet connection and those changes will sync to OneDrive once you reconnect to the internet.
Offline mode in OneDrive allows you to view, rename, and move files without an internet connection.
OneDrive Files On-Demand in the browser
The OneDrive feature Files On-Demand helps you access all the files in your OneDrive through Windows File Explorer or Finder on Mac without having to download them and use storage space on your computer. Files On-Demand also gives you the option to select files and folders to be always available (stored locally) on your computer, even when you’re offline.
Now, with offline mode, you can control the Files On-Demand feature directly in your browser. When you are online and working with your files in OneDrive for web, you can now select files to always be always available on your computer. Conversely, if you want to free up space on your computer, you can now easily mark offline files to be online-only. This can now all be accomplished directly from your browser, previously you could only do this from File Explorer on a PC or Finder on a Mac.
When offline mode is enabled, you can make files available for offline access from OneDrive for web.
Offline mode makes it easy to work with all kinds of files when you’re using OneDrive in your browser. For example, if you’re working offline and want to open a PDF, you can just left-click on the file to open it directly in your favorite PDF editor instead of a browser-based PDF previewer. You can then make your edits, and next time you’re connected, your changes will be synced back to OneDrive.
Offline mode enables new file states and icons in OneDrive.
OneDrive for web with offline mode lets you work smoothly and efficiently with slow connections or even no connections. With added support for Files On-Demand, you get more control of your experience when using OneDrive in your browser. We can’t wait for you to try it out. We welcome your feedback. Feel free to comment below or share and vote on ideas in the OneDrive feedback portal.
Additionally, commercial customers are welcome to join OneDrive Office Hours, a monthly Microsoft Teams meeting where our product team will answer your questions, demo new features, and get your feedback. To get on the meeting invite list, just sign up for OneDrive Office Hours. For more information on OneDrive, download the OneDrive quick start guide, tune in to the SyncUp Podcast or sign up for the OneDrive newsletter.

Help me add one more filter in my let formula
Hello,
Maria One
Alex Two
John Three
Mark Four
Larry Five
Hello,I need some help with this let formula. The way it works now is that it combines multiple tables in one single table without blank rows.I’m not able to add one more filter to it. I need to display entries in the final table based on one reference name. I’ll explain below and attach the xls file to simplify things. Each row in the sheets: tables A B C represents a different task. In the first column of each table A B C I assign the name of the person that is in charge of a particular task. Next to each table A B and C (in column N) I have a list with the names of each person. There will be a maximum of 5 names in that list (5 rows). Let’s say these names:Maria OneAlex TwoJohn ThreeMark FourLarry Five At the moment, the let formula will collect all entries & persons from tables A B and C and combine them in one final table Z. I created 5 new sheets and renamed them with the specific names.Can you help me and add one more criteria in the LET formula, for example for sheet: Maria One, to gather all tasks from sheets: tables A B C and from person Maria One, and display them in sheet: Maria OneMany thanks!! Why have embedded Excel, PowerPoint, and Word iframes in third-party apps suddenly stopped working?
Hello,
I am writing to report a critical issue we are currently facing with Microsoft Office iFrames.
Until recently, we have successfully integrated Excel, PowerPoint, and Word iFrames within our applications. However, these iframes are now consistently getting stuck on the login page, preventing any further interaction or functionality.
This problem has significantly disrupted our normal operations and productivity, as these features were working seamlessly before.
To better understand the origin of the issue, I created a distinct HTML page solely for the purpose of testing these iframes. Here are a few more details that might help in diagnosing the issue:
Date when the issue started: 2024-04-25.
Browsers used: Chrome, Edge.
Changes made before the issue: None.
Network issues: The network tab shows 403 errors when attempting to load the iframe content.
Direct URL test: Opening the iframe URL directly in a separate tab displays the content correctly, which suggests that the issue is specific to the iframe integration.
For your reference, I have attached a GIF that showcases the exact issue we are experiencing.
Could you please provide us with guidance on how to resolve this issue?
Are there any changes in iframe integration policies or authentication methods that we should be aware of?
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

I want to automatically register my computers in Intune. The computers are already in a local domain and registered in Entra. I’ve enabled automatic registration in Azure and Intune but I’m encountering an error 0x801c001d which seems to direct me to a hybrid configuration joined with Entra. I’ve noticed that the hybrid join option is a temporary status that we shouldn’t maintain for an extended period. Is this accurate? I can’t manually add computers with professional or school access because my users don’t have machine administrator privileges.

How do email onmicrosoft domains work to the actual domain?
So I have an email thats being used with a system. The email is on the lines of “support {at} domainname . c0m” . Now this works fine for the support system, but the system sends back an email on the line of “support {at} domainname . onmicrosoft. com”.
So when you reply to it, its like your replying to a completely different email to the original and confuses the system. If it helps, they both show up as smtp:xxxxxx in the properties area and from what I gather, the onmicrosoft in an internal domain?
Is there a default one you can use?
If it helps, the system is Jira Service Management. Cheers

No M365 Labs orderable – How shall we deliver training?
Hello,
our ALH Provider (skillable) just told us that all M365 ALHs are suspended and cannot be ordered anymore until the MS issue is resolved.
Can you please clarify:
* How we should deliver these trainings? (MS102,MD102,All PL*, All SC*, etc.)
* In which timeframe could we expect an alternative solution?
Doing only demos (thru the MCTs Dev tenants) for a 5 day course is so boring and not what customers expect of a high quality training.
They told me to reach out to my CSAM (I dont know what or who that is) and they refererred me to https://aka.ms/sh-wsupdate where we dont have any access.
That stuff is really so annoying. Hoping to get some answers tomorrow in the TSPCC.

Power Automate corrupts the excel sheet when saving
Ive created a flow in power automate which automatically is checking the shared email inbox and once the specific email with the specific excel sheet arrives, it will be saved on the sharepoint. So far it worked, but the excel sheet get corrupted everytime it saves it. the error message is saying “This workbook couldn’t be opened because the file format may not be matching with the file extension.” why is this happening?

DLP Triggered by a Policy I am No Ionger In
Hi everyone,
We are testing out creating DLP policy that involves blocking by file type when uploading to Dropbox. This first policy I created didn’t really do what I expected to, so I created a second policy that takes a different approach. I removed myself from the first policy and made the second policy top priority, yet I am still seeing the first policy being triggered during my tests. It’s been a week, and my policy sync status is up to date.
Has anyone else experienced this?

It’s been a week, and my policy sync status is up to date.Has anyone else experienced this? Read More
How to use Microsoft Universal Print with SAP
Dear community,
Printing from SAP landscapes is a requirement for many customers. Examples can be data list printing, mass- or label printing. Such production and batch print scenarios are often solved with specialized hardware, drivers, and printing solutions.
We distinguish between end-user-based printing from SAPGUI, web browsers, and web-based SAP front end apps. We refer to those use cases as frontend printing. See this Microsoft Learn page for more details on how to set that up with SAP.
Unattended mass-print jobs initiated by apps rather than people we refer to as backend printing. See this open-source solution on GitHub to learn more.
Find a more detailed blog post on the SAP community 👉🏿 here.
What is Microsoft Universal Print?
Universal Print is a cloud-based print solution in M365 that enables organizations to manage printers and printer drivers in a centralized manner.
In which SAP environment can I use Universal Print?
Universal Print runs entirely on Microsoft Azure and is part of M365. Your SAP landscape can be anywhere (on-premises, RISE, GROW, etc.).
Dedicated partner solutions available?
Yes. See the initial list referenced on the SAP blog.
Final words
Microsoft Universal Print covers your printing needs from SAP, while reducing the printer device management overhead, and getting rid of the need for print drivers.
Cloud printing is applicable to your SAP Business Users (called frontend printing) from their own devices and browsers just as they are used to.
SAP backend printing is covered by our community-driven open-source integration component released on GitHub. Check the Azure marketplace, SAP store, and partner repositories for updates on partner offerings.
Let us know what you think and feel encouraged to participate in the community effort on GitHub:raising_hands:. Partners are welcome to reach out to build a marketplace or managed offering.
Cheers

Calibrateing Camera to IMU in Matlab
I need to calibrate my flire blackflyS camera to my IMU but I am having trouble doing so using the estimateextrinsics. Issue with contour plot due to different size
Hello,
As cited above I want to have a contour plot, but the problem is the size of X and Z are different. as given below:
x0 = x;
t0 = Time(1:9:100);
[t1, x1] = meshgrid(t0, x0);
contourf(t1,x1,H0I0_Turbulence_cen2,1000,’edgecolor’,’none’)
colormap(jet);
colorbar;
X = min(t0):(max(t0)-min(t0))/9:max(t0);
set(gca, ‘xlim’, [min(t0) max(t0)]);
set(gca, ‘xtick’, X);
xtickformat(‘%.2f’);
xlabel(‘t’,’FontSize’,24,’fontweight’,’bold’);
Y = min(x0):(max(x0)-min(x0))/9:max(x0);
set(gca, ‘ylim’, [min(x0) max(x0)]);
set(gca, ‘ytick’, Y);
ytickformat(‘%.1f’);
ytickformat(‘%.2f’);
ylabel(‘x’,’FontSize’,24,’fontweight’,’bold’)
set(gca,’ycolor’,’k’);
set(gcf,’color’,’w’);
hold on
contour(t1,x1,H0I0_Turbulence_cen2,’k’,’ShowText’,’on’)
grid on
hold off
ct = 0:(max(max(H0I0_Turbulence_cen2))-0)/10:max(max(H0I0_Turbulence_cen2));
c=colorbar(‘Ticks’,ct);
clim([0 max(max(H0I0_Turbulence_cen2))]);
c.TickLabels = compose(‘%.2f’,ct);
ylabel(c,’itI_{cen}’,’FontSize’,24, ‘fontweight’, ‘bold’);
Here, size(t1) = 100 x 12, size(x1) = 100×12,
and size(H0I0_Turbulence_cen2)=6×12
So size is differing by a large amount.
Thus I get the error as "Error using contourf
The size of X must match the size of Z or the number of columns of Z."
Is there any way to solve this issue and plot the contour?Hello,
